From 8 to 10 June 2027, IST METZ is once again hosting the UV Days in Nürtingen – this time in a very special setting: together with customers, partners and industry experts, we will be celebrating 50 years of IST METZ and the future of UV, LED and excimer technology.
For five decades, IST METZ has stood for technological expertise and the development of UV curing systems for a wide range of applications. This anniversary provides a special backdrop for UV Days 2027 – an international platform for innovation in UV printing and industrial curing processes.
At UV Days 2025, IST METZ presented FREEcure and SMARTcure – two technologies designed to advance UV processes. With suitable formulations, FREEcure enables curing without photoinitiators or with a reduced photoinitiator content. As an AI-supported curing assistant, SMARTcure helps to determine the appropriate UV output for the respective production process.
At UV Days 2027, IST METZ will be introducing LEDcure NX, a new generation of high-performance LED-UV curing systems. The platform offers high UV output, a modular design and flexible integration options for a range of printing and industrial applications.
Since its debut in 2002, UV Days has developed into an international meeting place for the industry. In 2027, numerous exhibitors will once again be presenting their latest developments in the fields of UV, LED and excimer technology. As early as 2025, the event welcomed around 1,000 visitors from some 30 countries, as well as 44 exhibitors.
UV Days offers trade visitors from all over the world a wide range of opportunities for professional exchange, networking and knowledge transfer. Technical presentations in German and English, workshops and live demonstrations provide practical insights and perspectives for the industry. The daily ‘Come together’ in the UV Lounge also creates space for personal conversations and encounters in a relaxed atmosphere. From 3 to 5 June 2025, IST METZ hosted the world's largest in-house exhibition for optical systems in Nürtingen - and drew an all-round positive balance. Around 1000 visitors from 30 countries and 44 exhibitors once again made UV Days 2025 an international meeting place for the UV and LED industry.
Under the motto ‘The future of sustainable curing technology’, IST METZ presented innovative solutions for UV, LED and excimer technology. The focus was on practical live demonstrations of the SMARTcure and FREEcure technologies, which set new standards in efficiency, sustainability and process reliability.
Numerous renowned exhibitors and partner companies from printing and industry used the event for professional dialogue, while exciting presentations and expert impulses offered insights into current developments and trends. Together with customers and partners, IST METZ is shaping the future of curing technology - with a clear goal: zero emissions, zero waste, maximum efficiency.
